Why Orlando?

Orlando has been dubbed the "The City Beautiful." Yet in the midst of all its beauty, Orlando has a void only the gospel can fill.

Spiritual Need

Orlando has been ranked the 6th most dechurched city in the United States. Of Central Florida's 4 million residents, 3.5 million are unchurched.

Growing Population

Orlando is continuing to grow, and grow rapidly. Orlando's population has grown by 20.4% since 2010 and outpaces growth in Florida's other metro areas.

The Nations

Orlando is a strategic location not only for reaching people with the gospel, but for sending people around the world. As of 2019, 65.4% of Orlando residents were born outside of the United States.

Our Pastor

Andrew Stucker
M.DIV. D.Min.

This is a great place to add a tagline.

Andrew and and his wife Erin are Orlando natives and were called to plant Redemption Church in 2021. Both of them graduated from Boone High School and Florida State University. They have been married for 7 years and have two very active boys: Liam (3) and Macklin (1). Their family enjoys doing anything outdoors, especially if it involves the water, and cheering for all things Florida State.

Andrew earned his M.Div with a specialization in pastoral ministry from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry Degree in leadership from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

For the last 4 years, Andrew has served as the lead pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church in Americus, Georgia and he has previously served as a student pastor in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Andrew is passionate about preaching the Bible in way that is relatable and engaging and he loves encouraging people to take their next step of faith with Jesus.

Both Andrew and Erin are excited to "return home" to a city and people they love. They are eager to reach all people, with all of Jesus, for all of life.
